Portfolio

I hold a BFA in Theatre Arts from Texas State University, where I studied design, production, and the visual language of storytelling. My background in creating art through theatre, from set design to producing plays, informs my approach to large-scale event design and fine art painting.

I draw inspiration from books, books, and more books. I love reading, and I can often be found reading a novel when I'm not at my studio desk. I concentrate mostly on mythology, memory, and society, and how those subjects intersect.  For me, storytelling is the bridge between art and people. It is the story that I consider and weave into each painting that makes it meaningful.
